Joe Lacob’s “tumultuous reactions” to Jonathan Cummings were noted
The Golden State Warriors were without some wing depth in the game against the Toronto Raptors, and will be so for the rest of the season after Jimmy Butler suffered a torn ACL. With the vibes not looking great around the team and how they’ve been using Kuminga, an owner happy with his play could change a lot. According to Tim Kawakami of the San Francisco Standard, he asked an NBA insider if he saw Lac’s reactions to Kuminga’s game, and he replied with“Everybody in the league saw it.”
It only leads to more questions about where the disconnect between head coach Steve Kerr and Cumminga came from, which has now prompted the young forward to request a trade.
It is uncertain whether the general director will get his wish Mike Dunleavy recently shared the reality someone looking for a trade.
“As far as demand goes, when you make a demand, the demand has to be there,” Dunleavy said at a recent news conference.
If Kuminga isn’t going to be traded, the best thing for the Warriors is to play him, as he showed against the Raptors that he can be useful.
