Jonathan Jones is out against the Cowboys, cleared of concussion



The Washington Commanders received some positive news during their Christmas Day game against the Dallas Cowboys after a short while injury scare involving Jonathan Jones. The 10-year veteran exited in the second quarter to be evaluated for a concussion, causing concern for the Commanders secondary during the Cowboys game.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter took to X (formerly known as Twitter), initially they share news.

“Commanders CB Jonathan Jones is being evaluated for a concussion and is questionable to return today.”

Jones was later cleared and brought back before halftime. It remains available for the remainder of the competition, except that the second outing is ruled out. This is a developing story.
