Jonathan Kuminga’s performance left the Dubs buzzing after beating the Lakers
The Golden State Warriors earned a 119-109 win over the Los Angeles Lakers to kick off the 2025-26 NBA season on Tuesday night. The Warriors’ impressive road win was a statement of sorts. There was a lot of hype surrounding Luka Doncic and the Lakers, but Stephen Curry and Golden State reminded of a big win.
If Kuminga can continue to play at a high level, the Warriors will be in a particularly advantageous position. Curry and Jimmy Butler will lead the team, while Kuminga has the potential to make a difference.
Golden State will look to stay in the win column Thursday night against the Denver Nuggets. The Warriors home opener is set for 10:00 PM EST in what should be an exciting contest.
