Josh Giddei earned serious early season MVP consideration

In the grand scheme of things, Chicago Bulls they wouldn’t be as hot as they are if they didn’t Josh Giddei. After signing a a four-year, $100 million contractGiddei is out of the race and does not slow down.
So far, he has averaged 23.1 points, 10 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game. As a result, Giddei is already cementing his name as an MVP candidate, according to the CHSN Bulls.
According to NBA.com, Giddei is No. 6 on their MVP rankings presented by Kia.
Giddei’s notable performances include a A career high of 32 points against the New York Knicks. He also handed a nice dish to Nikola Vučević, who was there open for three to complete the Bulls’ 32-point comeback win over the Philadelphia 76ers last Tuesday.
In the process, Giddy became the first Bulls player since Michael Jordan achieve two consecutive triple doubles. Jordan did it during the 1988-1989 season.
Giddy is in many ways the focal point of the Bulls. His shooting development combined with his playing development makes him hard to ignore. Plus, with Kobe White still out due to a lower leg injuryhe took over as the go-to guy in the Bulls’ offense.
Is Josh Giddei MVP material?
Obviously, it’s too early to definitively say that anyone in the league is MVP worthy. Even reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the OKC Thunder has to prove himself.
However, Gidi has proven himself to be an exceptional player so far. However, he has a long season ahead of him to prove himself.
Inevitably, Gidey, and thus the Bulls, will have those slow periods, where they lose more than they win, especially when facing better teams like the Thunder, Lakers, Warriors, etc.
All the while, Giddy will need to maintain a high level of performance if he ever wants to win MVP honors.
It’s too early to tell, but you never know.
