Josh Giddei questionable for Hawks tackle with finger injury

Obviously, a a four-year, $100 million contract speaks volumes about how Chicago Bulls feel about Josh Giddei. As a result, it’s up to him to stay healthy. However, on Monday Gidi was officially listed as questionable on the injured list ahead of the Bulls’ game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Gidi is battling a right 4th metacarpophalangeal (MCP) sprain. Giddy played the final four minutes of Saturday’s game against the Orlando Magic, which the Bulls won 110-98. In total, he played 32 minutes and scored 21 points, grabbed eight rebounds and recorded three assists.
Earlier on Tuesday, Giddei did take part in the shooting ahead of the Hawks game, according to KC Johnson of the Chicago Sports Network. Meanwhile, two other Bulls notables are off the injured list. One of them is Kobe White, who is out with a calf injury at least two weeks. The other is Zach Collins, who is out with a fractured left scaphoid.
Meanwhile, the Hawks have two of their top players listed as questionable for Tuesday. They are Jalen Johnson (sprained right ankle) and Kristaps Porzingis (flu-like symptoms). The Bulls are looking to start the season 3-0 after defeating the Detroit Pistons, 115-111, as well as the Magic in the opener.
Josh Giddei must be present for the Bulls.
With White gone for the time being, Giddy is obligated to stay fresh for a variety of reasons. First, because he has that $100 million job hanging over his head and the obvious pressure that comes with it. Basically, he’s trying to prove he’s worth the money for a lowly team.
Additionally, in White’s absence, Giddy has to be one of the guys to take over the playmaking role, although Matas Bouzelis can pick up the slack in some areas. However, Gidi is the temporary general for this group of soldiers.
currently, his status is “day by day”.
