Josh Harris, wife, attends Trump’s White House dinner with the Saudi crown prince

American president Donald Trump hosted a lavish black-tie dinner at the White House on November 18 for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, creating a rare mix of diplomacy, business, sportand celebrity in one room, according to TimesNewsNews. The owner of the commander Josh Harris and his wife Marjorie Harris attended the high-profile dinner, which has already drawn worldwide attention for the crown prince’s first trip to the United States since the 2018 assassination of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

Trump greeted a long list of influential figures from Saudi Arabia and the United States. The guest list included members of the royal family such as Prince Badr bin Abdullah Al Saud and Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. Also in attendance were Cristiano Ronaldo, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Bryson Deschamps and media personalities Brett Baier and Maria Bartiromo. The New York Times noted that top business leaders such as Bill Ackman, Jeremy Allaire and Lubna al-Olaian were also in attendance.

During talks earlier in the day, the crown prince reportedly pledged nearly $1 trillion in future investments, while Trump agreed to the sale of F-35 fighter jets. That diplomatic background added even more weight to the evening and the wide array of guests seated throughout the White House.

Trump favors naming the stadium Commanders

Josh Harris attended the event at a time when Trump is also putting pressure on commanders behind the scenes. According to The Guardian, the president wants the franchise’s planned $3.7 billion stadium to bear his name. A senior White House official said Trump personally delivered the request to a member of Harris’ ownership group.

The Chiefs continue to prepare to return to the site of RFK Stadium, their former home from 1961 to 1996. Trump’s interest in naming rights adds a surprising twist as the franchise evaluates options for a venue that aims to cement a new era for the organization. White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt made Trump’s position clear in an email, saying, “That would be a nice name, because President Trump made it possible to build a new stadium.”
