JT Miller blames leadership for Blackhawks loss

It was a bad night at the United Center after The New York Rangers fell to the Chicago Blackhawks 3-0, which is the sixth time they have endured a shutout. Now, JT Miller he called out Rangers leadership, which illustrates the level of frustration within the organization, according to a post by Rangers writer Molly Walker.
“It’s frustrating. I have to do, for me, I guess just a better job. I think leadership, we could all step up right now in games like this and put a better game on the ice. All you can do is take care of yourself and try to bring the best version of yourself,” Miller told Walker.
That was it Rangers’ third straight lossdropping them to 15-13-44 and they remain seventh in the Metropolitan Division. Although they are just one point behind the Philadelphia Flyers for the final Wild Card spot, it has been a battle all season. The Rangers didn’t win their first home game until Nov. 10, a month into the season, and have been inconsistent throughout.
When is it The Rangers have hired Mike Sullivan to be their new coachthey believed that their problems were behind them. Yet their struggles continued, and they did began to frustrate rather.
“Just put it in context: They’ve had some tough games in this one, and everybody in this league is proud. We knew they were going to come out with urgency based on the circumstances surrounding their team, and we couldn’t match the urgency because of the puck drop.” Sullivan told Walker.
Sullivan was referring to the Blackhawks’ recent slump, where they were outscored by the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks 13-1 in two games. As they bounce back from this loss, the Rangers will have a few days to prepare for their next game on Saturday at home against the Montreal Canadiens.
