Kailen Bullock hit his pick-6 shot that could have ended Aaron Rodgers’ career



The The Houston Texans advanced in the NFL playoffs after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday evening, 30-6. Houston defensive back Cullen Bullock had a pick-6 in the fourth quarter that helped seal the deal for Houston.

Bullock spoke after the game about how the game unfolded. In fact, he said he called his shot.

“Texans.” safety Kailen Bullock said he told (safety) Jalen Pitre before he caught his pick-six that he was going to score a touchdown on that drive,” ESPN reporter DJ Bien-Aime reported on X, formerly Twitter.

The Texans scored two defensive touchdowns in the second half of Monday’s game against the Steelers. Along with Bullock’s interception, Houston also recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown.

“We’re the best defense. The whole world knows that,” added Bullock. “Every time we go out there, we show up.”

The Texans play the New England Patriots in the next round of the NFL playoffs. Bullock’s pick-6 was on a pass that could be his last Aaron Rodgers‘ career of an NFL player.

The Texans won a sloppy game against the Steelers

The Texans made several mistakes on offense in Monday’s Steelers game. after all, it was a defense that lifted Houston to a road win.

“According to ESPN research, Houston became the second team in playoff history to score multiple defensive touchdowns in a game without giving up a TD, joining Chicago, who accomplished the feat in the 1940 NFL championship against Washington,” Bien-Aime wrote for ESPN.

The Houston coach was delighted with his defense on Monday.

“It was an outstanding defensive performance,” Texas head coach DeMeco Ryans said. “One of the best I’ve seen against a really talented offense, a talented quarterback who has played at a high level for a long time.

Going forward, Houston’s offense needs to step up and play better. Quarterback CJ Stroud struggled to protect the football on the play. Houston finished the contest with three turnovers, including two turnovers.

After losing, The Steelers now face questions about Rodgers’ future and head coach Mike Tomlin.
