Kawhi Leonard delivers first-team all-defensive support to a teammate

Last season, Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Dunn he was denied for his defensive efforts. However, this season his efforts are being rewarded by his teammates Kawhi Leonard and Darissa Garland.
Leonard, in particular, is running a campaign for Dunn to be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team, according to Clippers beat writer Joey Lin.
“He’s been great all year, even last year, I think he should definitely be first team all-defense this year. I’m not sure what the conditions are, I know he didn’t make it last year because of minutes or something. I hope he gets those minutes because he’s definitely going to be first or second team. I think he’s definitely from last year and the way I see him this year.”
On Monday, Leonard and Garland reiterated their belief that Dan is worthy of such an honor, according to The Athletic’s Lou Murray.
“Should be first-team all-defense this year,” Leonard said.
“KD — just an animal,” Garland said.
