Kawhi Leonard, Tyronn Lue react to Paper Bowl, ‘Eat The Tweet’ chant

The LA Clippers won Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night, giving them theirs second consecutive win and improving their record to 21-24. Behind the big night 28 game points from Kawhi Leonard, Tyronn LueThe club from Russia won with 37 points in the Paper Bowl that everyone considered.
In mid-December, the Clippers were 6-21 and seemed poised to be one of the worst teams in the NBA. Then Robert Flom, editor-in-chief of an independent LA Clippers blog called 213 Hoops, posted a harmless tweet in response to a fan’s suggestion that the team would turn things around after trading for DeMar DeRozan.
“If (the LA Clippers) go 15-3 at any point this season, I’m going to print and eat this tweet.”
If they go 15-3 in any stretch, they will print and eat this tweet this season

As the team began to win, fans began to pay attention to the tweet, and over the past week, NBA fans have fully jumped on the bandwagon to see if the Clippers will win enough games to reach a 15-3 mark.
Well, Sunday night’s win against the Nets was the Clippers’ 15th in their last 18 games, and the fans at the Intuit Dome knew it.

After the game, head coach Tyronn Lue was informed of the tweet and the context behind it. Needless to say, he wanted to see the live video.
“They said 15-3 right?” Lue asked. “Well then we have to put him on camera! Where is he? We have to put him on camera. We have to see it. You have to go live.”
Kawhi Leonard mentioned hearing Zid sing, but once he said what it was about in the context of the tweet, he offered some advice.
“Oh, wow, I didn’t know anything about that,” Leonard said. “That’s ridiculous. Pssh, he better try and see if he can eat something else. I don’t know how healthy that is for you.”
Clippers forward John Collins shared his advice for the fan, which was mostly dietary.
“Whatever helps or whatever you can get in, make sure you’re getting a lot of fiber,” Collins added. “That’s all I got bro. Try to get your banana in or whatever you can bro.”
