Sacramento remains ahead of the Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets according to current projections. However, finishing with the worst record in the league does not guarantee the top pick in this scenario.
The Dallas Mavericks benefited from the lottery system last season — they won the top seed even after finishing 39-43. Cooper Flagg arrived on the move a month later.
Many analysts are already predicting that AJ Dibantsa will team up with Murray and company next season. BIU’s freshman sensation continues to hear his name attached to the chatter of top picks.
Still, Kansas stands out as a freshman Darrin Peterson is another possible top pick for Sacramento. The Kings are 13-46 overall and lose 51-32.
