Kenyon Martin’s son signs for Ningbo Rockets
KJ Martin he is not done with “Rockets”, he is changing continents. 24-year-old striker, cut jazz before “training camp”actually dealt with Ningbo rocketsin the Chinese championship.
Launched from Houston, where he established himself as an energizer off the bench, KJ Martin then wore the colors of the Clippers, Sixers and Jazz. In five NBA seasons, he averaged 8.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in 21.6 minutes in 309 games, with good shooting efficiency, even if his long-range skills remain erratic.
With no chance of returning to the NBA this season, he joins Ningbo where he should earn a nice salary while staying in shape…while waiting for a call from a franchise in the United States?
