Kevin Durant and Tee Higgins exchange jerseys after the Houston-Heat clash



The Miami Heat always have a winner in them, and it showed story once again at the Kasey Center against the Houston Rocketswhere they emerged victorious 115-105 despite a strong score Kevin Durant, who finished with 32 points and eight assists on 12-20 shooting overall. The Heat rebounded from a 19-24 second quarter deficit with a strong finish, going on a 30-22 run in the final to end up with a comfortable win.

After the game, Durant was seen handing out his signed jersey to none other than Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, who was among the thousands in attendance. The two were seen talking and hanging out after the game, with Durant taking his time sign the jersey which he wore, according to a post on X by ClutchPoints. Higgins responded with his signature Bengals jersey with his No. 5 on the back.

Regardless, the win snapped a two-game skid for Miami, moving them to 32-29 on the season and into 8th place in the Eastern Conference. Bam Adebayo was the highlight of the game, coming back with a game-high 24 points and 11 rebounds. Adebayo shot an efficient 9-of-17 from the field, stretched the floor by going 3-of-5 from beyond the arc and finished with a team-best +16 plus/minus rating.

Freshman Kel’el Ware had a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds off the bench. Pele Larsson erupted for 20 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, while Tyler Hero added 18 on 8-of-12 shooting.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 14 points as the Heat shot 50% from the field and 35.5% from the bench compared to the Rockets’ 43.2% from the field and a poor 25% from three-point range.
Despite the loss, Kevin Durant was by far the best player on the court.

Along with 32 points and eight assists, KD also had six rebounds while shooting 12-of-20 from the floor and a perfect 6-of-6 from the foul line. The Rockets suffered from poor shooting all night and never threatened to take control in the final quarter.

They will now take on the Washington Wizards in hopes of getting back to winning ways. The Heat will next host the Brooklyn Nets.
