Kevin Durant climbed the all-time scoring list in the NBA’s victory over the Pelicans
Kevin Durant made NBA history after entering the all-time scoring list during Houston The Rockets match against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night.
Durant is halfway through his 19th year in the league, his first with the Rockets. He continues to shine as one of the top scorers, breaking records every season he plays.
Entering the contest against New Orleans, he had scored 31,544 points during his regular season career. He sat in seventh place on the all-time list, behind Dirk Nowitzki with 31,560 points for sixth place.
He needed 16 points to tie the Dallas Mavericks legend and 17 to surpass him. It was something that he was performed in 36 minutes of action against Pelican. Durant finished with 18 points, eight assists, six rebounds and a steal. He shot 5-of-18 from the field, including 1-of-8 from beyond the arc and 7-of-8 from the free throw line.
