Kevin Durant drops a crazy shower that will make fans hold their noses

Houston Rockets All-Star Kevin Durant goes viral and has nothing to do with backball, but with his take on showering and his personal hygiene. Doc former players call Durant the best scorer in NBA history, surprised fans with his revealing habits, or lack thereof, as KD admitted he hadn’t showered in days.

Durant, alongside Rockets teammate Fred VanVleet, opened up about self-careand how he found new ways to relax, including cutting less hair, showering and using less lotion, he told Unguarded.

“For what? Why get cuts? Why lotion? I don’t lotion my body like that. I might lotion my hands if they’re a little dry,” Durant said. “What makes me really get a cut is when I’m in my room playing a game. My friend is like we have a barber on the way. I’m like ‘okay, if you’re going to get a cut, I’m going to get one.’

“At one point I really did care. Then after a while, I’m much more relaxed when I just don’t bother. So I just stopped getting cuts. I stopped lotioning. I shower, but sometimes I could go two days without jumping in that water. Wait until I get to the gym.”

For Durant, it all depends on how his schedule breaks down amid the monotony of the NBA season.

“I’m not saying I don’t shower after practice,” Durant added. “If I’m sitting in the house and I don’t have exercise, I might want to be moldy for a few days. I just like to feel that way near the trenches. I just say screw it.”

Durant and the Rockets lost their second straight game to the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday, 133-128.

In addition to Fred VanVleet, Rockets’ Kevin Durant talked about his NBA legacywho hopes to add a third championship in his first season with the Rockets. Durant discussed how winning his first title with the Warriors changed his perspective.

“I feel like I’ve mastered the game and that should be the only goal for any player,” Durant said. “I don’t give a *** about Magic Johnson or Larry Bird, what they did compared to me. The standard they set, I want to reach that. In terms of longevity, relevance, impact on the game, impact on the city. Championships, I want that too.”

Durant reveals his mindset changed after winning his first title.

“When we won the first one, and I realized none of that shit matters. Like, why am I comparing myself to another man? I should be playing against myself,” Durant said. “In my life in general, I don’t compare myself to any human being in anything I do.”

Durant and the Rockets will face the Nuggets on Friday.
