Kevin Durant, Houston trolled mercilessly by the Kings after an ugly loss

The The Houston Rockets came by bit of turbulence lately, losers of four of their last five games to slip into Western Conference playoff territory. The Rockets last lost to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night, 111-98, after two straight losses at hands of the Portland Trail Blazers.
Recently, the Rockets announced a new tradition in their home arena, which would involve a player from the team pushing a button that triggers smoke in the building, similar to how the Kings have a player “light the beam” after wins.
Kings on Sunday seized the opportunity to troll Kevin Durant and Rockets montage over video from Houston’s social media feed.

Needless to say, fans in the comments section of X, formerly Twitter, loved Sacramento’s level of pettiness.
“HAHAHAHHAAHAHHA THIS IS GOLD,” wrote one fan.
Meanwhile, Rockets fans weren’t thrilled with the troll’s work.
“Trolled by the worst team in the league and can’t even say anything. Kings of fairs…… fairs,” wrote a Rockets fan.
Overall, the Rockets have shown some signs of slipping in recent weeks after a hot start to the year that some fans pegged as the Oklahoma City Thunder’s biggest threat in the Western Conference.
While Durant and fellow guard Alperen Sengun continued to post solid scoring stats on a nightly basis, the production from some of Houston’s role players, including Jabari Smith Jr., began to wane, and the team’s lack of a true point guard began to show in obvious ways.
The Rockets planned for that role to go to Fred VanVleet, but he is currently sidelined with an ACL injury.
Houston will try to get back into the win column on Tuesday night at home against the Chicago Bulls.
