Kevin Durant shoots at Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic

The The All-Star Game received a lot of criticism in the last few years due to lack of effort. The league changed the format again in a USA vs. World style game, and hopefully that can change things. Kevin Durant is already broken into his team since there are two US teams, and says you shouldn’t worry about his team and their effort.
On the other hand, he says that the real culprits are in the World Team, i he shouted Luka Dončić and Nikola Jokic in his recent press.
“You should ask the Europeans and the World Team if they’re going to compete,” Durant said, via ESPN’s Michael C. Wright. “If you look at Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic now, let’s go back and look at what they’re doing in the All-Star game. Is it a competition? So, we didn’t question what they did. But we’re going to question the old heads, and the Americans.
“But these two guys out there, Luka and Jokic, they don’t care about the game at all. These guys are laying on the floor. They’re shooting from half court. But you gotta worry about the old heads playing hard? I know how to read between the lines, bro. That’s just the general theme that everybody’s talking about.”
Doncic and Jokic usually jog up and down the court during the All-Star Game and shoot a crazy shot here and there. However, they are not the only players on the court doing the same thing, as some American players fall into the same trap.
There are some players who take it seriously, and they usually end up with a lot of points and win the All-Star MVP.
With this new format, it will be interesting to see if the players end up showing more effort or if it stays the same.
