Kevin Huerter broke the hearts of Boston fans after his game-winning hat trick in Chicago The Bulls vs. Celtics game on Saturday night.
Huerter is halfway through his eighth NBA season, his second with the Bulls. He excels as a threat on the perimeter while showing solid playmaking ability off Chicago’s bench.
The veteran scorer came through in the clutch during Chicago’s showdown against Boston. In the last seconds of the game, he received the ball in the left corner as he knocked down the game-winning three to secure a 114-111 victory over the Celtics.

Kevin Huerter continues to be productive with his 3-point shooting as he was the hero for the Bulls on Saturday night after beating the Celtics at home.
Both teams traded shots throughout the game. Boston led at halftime before Chicago stormed back in the third quarter, sending both sides into a close contest.
Perimeter shooting and rebounding made the difference in this matchup. The Bulls won in both categories after making 21 3-pointers and grabbing 44 rebounds. It wasn’t the same for the Celtics as they made 15 3-pointers and grabbed 38 rebounds.
Eight players scored in double figures for Chicago in the win, including Huerter. He finished with 12 points, six rebounds and three assists. He shot 5-of-7 from the field, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. The team was led by Kobe White with 22 points and seven assists, followed by Nikola Vucevic with 16 points and seven rebounds, while Jalen Smith and Matas Buzelis scored 14 points each.
Chicago improved to 23-22 on the season, holding ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings. They are above the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks while trailing the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic.
With four straight wins, the Bulls will be looking forward to their next match. They stay at home as they host the Los Angeles Lakers on January 26th at 8pm ET.
