Kevin Jennings shows love for the Mustangs after the Holiday Bowl win
SMU football shocked the Holiday Bowl as Kevin Jennings and the Mustangs took control early against Arizona football. SMU football led 24-0 at halftimeand Jennings threw for 278 yards, completing 21 of 32 passes despite three interceptions. The Wildcats responded with a 19-0 run in the second half, tightening the game and testing the Mustangs’ nerves under the lights.
SMU responded when it mattered most. The defense tightened. The offense ran the clock. Jennings stayed composed in the clutch and kept his team confident. After the win, he didn’t talk about statistics, he spoke with heart and confidence. “This team has got my back no matter what. I love these guys,” he said, and the fans could hear it in his voice.
