Klay Thompson makes waves with Megan Thee Stallion before the Warriors game

Klay Thompson he prepares differently for games.

The day before Dallas Mavericks against the Golden State Warriors, Thompson was on the water with his girlfriend, Megan Thee Stallion. The couple – along with the rapper’s French bulldog 4oe – were seen relaxing on the water in Thompson’s boat, catching waves. In his Instagram story, Thompson showed him and Megan in a boat before turning the camera to show him flexing his frozen rudder Megan gave it as a gift back in October.

Near the end of the video, 4oe sits on Thompson’s lap where he says “Big Captain”, referring to Megan jokingly correcting him: “Co-Captain”.

The couple debuted their relationship over the summer and had several experiences on his boat, including a fishing trip that the rapper documented. The Mavs star went one step further and shared it he named his ship “SS Stallion” in honor of his girlfriend.

Fans were very impressed with Thompson’s gesture, which he shared on Instagram last month.

“He loves our girl OUT LOUD,” one fan commented.

“Man, Clay, thank you for treating this girl so well and loving her!” wrote a fan. “We’ve seen the world not on her side for five years in a row, she deserves this.”

Thompson and Meghan also celebrated big moments like their first Thanksgiving together. The three-time Grammy-winning rapper cooked for Thompson’s family and shared her process on Instagram.

“I was really nervous, because I was like, ‘Damn, I really want to cook for my man and his whole family,'” she said in her video. “I hope they like this because I have to show them that I really love their son!”

Her hard work did not go to waste as Thompson’s father, Michal Thompson, more than enjoyed the meal.

“Thanksgiving dinner was the best Thanksgiving meal I’ve ever had,” Klay’s father, Michal Thompson, told ESPN LA. “Megan Thee Stallion should be Megan Thee Chef.

“There was so much good food. It was amazing. She went out of her way to make sure everyone was well fed.”

The couple will also celebrate their first Christmas together tomorrow when the Mavs take on the Warriors at 5 p.m
