Knicks ready for Jose Alvarado?

This is the reason why CUT reports that New York monitors Jose Alvaradobeing leaders New Orleans have a chance to explode their workforce in the coming weeks. So far, there is no indication that the 27-year-old Puerto Rican, originally from Brooklyn, will be available. But if that were the case, New York’s leaders wouldn’t fail to step up.
Potentially free in the summer of 2026, if he declines his $4.5 million “player option,” Jose Alvarado will play for Pelicans since 2021. This is his only NBA franchise and he is averaging 8.3 points, 3.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals (35% 3-point success).
We learned that last month the Pacers could also position themselves on the leader of New Orleans. The upside, of course, is this small contract that makes him one of the best values for the money in the league.
