Kon Knuepel makes NBA history with his 100th three-pointer

Charlotte Hornets guard Knuppel could continues to turn heads with his stellar shooting and mature play. On Monday, he even reached impressive feat against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In the final seconds of the first quarter, the 20-year-old rookie hit a 3-pointer. It didn’t matter that Cavaliers guard Lonzo Ball shut him down. Knuepel still pulled it off for his 100th 3-pointer of the season.

With it, he set the NBA record for being the fastest to reach 100 three-pointers, doing so in only 29 games. He broke the previous record held by Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen.

Knuppel is also on pace to set the NBA record for most three-pointers made by a rookie in a season.
