LA announced that Luka Doncic has finally been updated on his injury status against the Thunder

After suffering what JJ Redick called a mild hamstring injury, Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić missed the team’s win against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday after being ruled out on the injury report.
As the Lakers faced the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night, Luka Doncic officially off on the injury report as he continues to deal with a hamstring issue. After the win against the Warriors, Redick admitted that Doncic is considered a day-to-day development.
Doncic originally suffered the injury during the Lakers’ win against the Philadelphia 76ers last Thursday. He left the game near the end of the second quarter and was eventually ruled out for the rest of the game. In just over 16 minutes, he finished with 10 points, four rebounds and two assists.
One of the potential candidates for MVP this season, Doncic is in his first full year with the Lakers after last season’s shocking triumph with the Dallas Mavericks. He currently leads the NBA with 32.8 points per game.
Dončić appeared in 42 games with slightly more than 35 minutes per game. He dealt with some nagging injuries earlier this season, but managed to get through it. In addition to his points, he is averaging 7.8 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.5 steals, shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 36.6 percent from the 3-point line and 77.5 percent from the free throw line.
With Doncic out, the Lakers welcomed back Austin Reaves, who missed 19 games with a calf injury. The Lakers are currently 32-19 and in fifth place in the Western Conference standings. They won three consecutive games.
