LA wants a hater to eat his ’15-3′ tweet after crushing the Nets

Once upon a time during the 2025-26 season Los Angeles Clippers had six wins with 21 losses. But then a switch flipped for the Clippers just before Christmas, and they haven’t looked back since. Following his own 126-89 demolition of the Brooklyn Nets entering Sunday night, the Clippers have now won 15 of their last 18 games, moving up to 10th in the Western Conference standings.

Given how badly the Clippers had played early in the season, few were confident they could turn things around. After all, this team was dealing with a mountain of injury problems, and on top of that, they were dealing with all the drama that came with their decision to send Chris Paul home on what would be his farewell tour.

Even the most die-hard Clippers fans were losing hope. Robert Flom, editor-in-chief of 213 Hoops, an independent blog that covers the team, announced on X on December 20, 2025 that he would print out his tweet and eat it if LA, at any point in the season, went 15-3. And the Clippers’ official account wasn’t just going to let Flom’s shift slide, hilariously printing a receipt.

The Clippers may have printed out Flom’s tweet and posted it in the locker room for some bulletin board material to get their season back on track. Whatever the case may be, LA has really turned things around, and given their great play of late, they may have enough to compete for a playoff spot, especially if they make a big trade.

As for Flom, he wrote on his X account that he would be eat printout of his infamous tweet live on the Clips N’ Dip podcast tomorrow night at 8:30pm ET. That has to be a tasty piece of paper for Flom, as he’ll be thrilled to watch his beloved Clippers go 15-3 even if it comes at the cost of his own diet.
