Lakers bring back Luke Kennard
The trade deadline should be fairly quiet Lakers. However, Los Angeles still managed to establish an exchangeseparating from Gabe Vincent to get hold of Luke Kennard.
The French franchise from Los Angeles must also give up its second-round pick in 2032 to recover the shooting guard from Hawks.
The transfer will not change the ceiling of Luka Doncic and LeBron James, and it does not change the club’s financial situation either, Luke Kennard and Gabe Vincent have almost the same salary, while their contracts are expiring. However, the former Grizzlies player remains a much more skilled sniper than his counterpart.
Even less used at Georgia, and therefore less prolific, he is still shooting 49.5% from distance this season, and 44.2% for his career, where Gabe Vincent is hitting 34.0%…
