Lakers’ LeBron James throws all the flowers to James Harden


Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James praised the LA Clippers James Harden after Sunday’s loss. The Clippers beat their city rivals 116-102. after the game James again discussed facing Kawhi Leonardand he had a lot to say about Harden.

The bearded Clippers veteran had a double-double (21 points, 12 assists) and four rebounds in a 14-point victory, extending his hitting streak to four in Sunday’s win against the Lakers. After the game, James talked on Harden’s evolution throughout his career, according to Sports Illustrated’s Joey Lin.

“Simply a great player who loves to play the game.” He plays at his own pace. He’s won every station he’s been in … OKC I played against him when he was super young … He went to Houston, and we know what he did down there,” James said. “I went to Philly and played great ball. And here he plays a great ball. He’s just a guy that’s an unselfish guy, go out there and just play the game.

“He managed to reinvent himself.” At one point he was giving guys a triple-double of 50 points. Triple-double with 60 points. He just plays the game the right way. He scores when he wants to, he’s always been a great passer.”

The Clippers’ James Harden finished with 21 points, 12 assists and four rebounds, while Ivica Zubac had a double-double (21 points, 19 rebounds) and Norman Powell led his team with 22 points. LeBron had a career-high 25 points, 11 assists and five rebounds as the Clippers handed Los Angeles their second loss in four tries.

After the defeat, LeBron James from the Lakers discussed against Kawhi Leonard, according to Sports Illustrated’s Joey Lynn.

“It’s always great for me to go against the best,” James said. “I know I don’t have that many opportunities to continue to fight against the best.” So it was great to have him back there.
