Lakers’ Luka Doncic disappeared from his fiancee’s IG post about “a decade of good times.”

Luka Dončić usually avoids headlines that have nothing to do with basketball, but a a recent post on his fiancee’s InstagramAnamaria Goltes, caused noticeable curiosity among fans, according to NIPost.
Goltes shared the post decade in review that looks back on her life from 2016 to 2026, describing the period as full of growth, lessons and significant moments. The carousel included dozens of photos showing her modeling work, personal travels, pregnancy moments and time spent with the couple’s two young daughters. In particular, Dončić himself was absent.
“2016–2026. A decade of good times, hard lessons and everything in between,” Goltes wrote. “Lots of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade a single moment ❤.”
The timing drew attention. Doncic and Goltes welcomed their second daughter on December 4, and the Lakers star missed several games last month to return to Slovenia to give birth. Fans were quick to notice that Doncic didn’t appear in any of the pictures, even though the post highlighted family life and milestones.
A decade defined by privacy and family
The omission is in keeping with how the couple has conducted their relationship over the years. Despite Doncic’s global profile with the Los Angeles Lakers, he and Goltes keep their personal lives largely out of the public eye.
Goltes previously said during an Instagram Q&A that she met Dončić when they were children at a seaside camp in Croatia. Their relationship grew long before NBA fame entered the picture. The two announced the birth of their first daughter, Gabriela, in December 2022, and got engaged in Slovenia in July 2023.
Dončić also talked about how Goltes helps him to separate basketball from his home life. During a 2023 appearance on “Headliners with Rachel Nichols,” he explained that she never focused their relationship on sports.
“When I come home, there is no talk of basketball,” Doncic said. “She doesn’t like basketball, but she goes to every game. It helps me a lot.”
Goltes did not directly mention Luka Dončić in the post and did not offer clarification on the choice of photos. For now, the message seems to focus on her personal journey rather than signaling anything other than a family that values privacy rather than a public explanation.
