LeBron James accused of ‘off’ lonesome behavior during Warriors game
The The Los Angeles Lakers opened their season with a 109-119 loss to the Golden State Warriors. after Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry combined for 54 points. The loss occurred in absence LeBron James, who sat on the sidelines with sciatica.
However, according to some fans, James’ unavailability was not the only cause for concern. The 40-year-old also looked out of touch with the rest of the Lakers throughout the night, at least according to a video posted on Instagram by bballtalkerz.
The post included two clips from the game, with user X stating that James seemed out of touch with his team, coaches or what was happening on the court. Furthermore, another video states that he did not appear to be celebrating despite a series of impressive shots by Luka Doncic.
However, the comments section states that this was not the caseand fans simply tend to overanalyze and follow every action closely.
“If he does something talk about him, if he doesn’t do anything talk about himðŸ˜,” one user wrote, with some fans suggesting that a whole host of players were doing exactly what James was doing.
“Lots of players do this smh,” another user wrote.
“The season isn’t even a week old and they’re already talking about LeBron 😂,” one fan wrote, stating that the media just needs a reason to talk about James.
“LeBron not playing and still being talked about lol. You can’t make this up,” another fan wrote in James’ defense.
Another user even mentioned Kobe Bryant.
“But when Kobe does it, it’s the mamba mentality right,” the fan wrote.
“Team down 15, what’s there to clap for 😂,” wrote one user, talking about how the Lakers were already behind by then and James simply had no reason to celebrate.
Needless to say, while the video states that James was simply out with the rest of the Lakers, plenty of fans jumped to his defense.
