LeBron James Drops 4-Word Reaction to Bronny James’ Explosive G-League

Since it’s his NBA debut, alongside LeBron James back in Octoberwe haven’t heard a ton of Los Angeles Lakers cousin Bronnie James. Bronny has achieved his First career NBA points in Clevelandhe went for 30 points in the G-League a little over a month later and has split time between the two leagues ever since. But arguably the biggest moment of Bronnie’s young career came on Friday night, when The 20-year-old rookie added a poster slam dunk and a new career high of 31 points on his resume.

After the game, Bronny talked about the experience of splitting time between the NBA and the G-League and how he was able to regain his confidence after a highly criticized start to the NBA. “Thankful” was the key word Bronny used and it was echoed by his father, who took the X after the game to send a message to his son.

Much of this reaction is rooted in the fact that prior to James’ one season with the USC Trojans, he he suffered a cardiac arrest during a USC practice session and was hospitalized for three days. It put Bronny’s playing career in jeopardy, but that’s the least of the James family’s worries. Five months later, Bronney made his USC debut, and ended up being selected with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft.

James logged just 29 minutes of NBA action, but performed well in the G-League, averaging 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists per game in three appearances for the South Bay Lakers.
