LeBron James pulled off a fantastic dunk in the alley after connecting with Marcus Smart during Los Angeles The Lakers match against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night.
James is coming off his NBA record 23rd season, continuing to shine as one of the best veteran stars in the league. Although Los Angeles has performed well as one of the best teams in the NBA, they have gone through a tough stretch defensively as they have lost three straight games.
The Lakers needed a big win, and their matchup against the Kings was supposed to be a big change of pace. James realized that as he made an incredible highlight reel during the first quarter. Smart stole the ball from Russell Westbrook while going on a fast break, making a pass without looking to the rushing James for a thunderous two-handed dunk.

James added in the second dunkthis time during the middle of the second period. Sacramento made a turnover when Los Angeles took possession. Luka Doncic had the ball in his hands and found the sharp James, who perfectly timed a two-handed reverse dunk.

As LeBron James, the Lakers played against the Kings

It was smooth sailing for LeBron James and the Lakers, securing a convincing 125-101 win over the Kings to get back into the win column.
Los Angeles dominated the match from start to finish, winning all four quarters. Their defense improved significantly, holding Sacramento to 101 points while forcing 19 turnovers in their end.
Six players scored in double figures for Los Angeles in the win, including James. He finished with 24 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals. He shot 11 of 13 from the field, including 1 of 2 from beyond the arc. Luka DonΔiΔ dominated with 34 points, seven assists, five rebounds, three steals and a block. Next up is Nick Smith Jr. with 21 points and three rebounds, Rui Hachimura with 12 points and four rebounds, while Deandre Ayton and Jake Laravia added 11 points each.
Los Angeles improved to a 20-10 record, holding fourth place in the Western Conference standings. They are 0.5 games above the Houston Rockets and one game above the Minnesota Timberwolves while trailing the Denver Nuggets by 1.5 games and the San Antonio Spurs by 2.5 games.
The Lakers will look forward to their next game, staying at home. They host the Detroit Pistons on December 30th at 10:30pm ET.
