Let me say that Kawhi Leonard had tantalizing performance on All-Star weekend would be a gross understatement. The Los Angeles Clippers‘ main player finished with 31 points and a three-pointer for the win, and seemed extremely happy with the new post-procedure format.
“Whatever you want. Whatever you know, grabs the consumer’s attention, I’m all for it,” he said when asked if he liked the new format, according to the post on X from ClutchPoints.

Many cannot question his performance. When he’s ready and shooting, Leonard remains one of the best players in the league and arguably the best two-way player in the NBA.
And the same has been seen in the Clippers’ season so far. After the Clippers stumbled to a poor start, Leonard’s return to form fueled a dramatic turnaround that kept the team in the playoff conversation.
“I feel like I’m one of the best when I play basketball,” he said, though he continued to question the basis of the rankings.
“It’s for you. For me, I think it’s a rotation every day, every week. Because you have guys who score 50 goals, have great defensive plays. And then the next night somebody else shines. So for me, the rankings are just based on maintaining the hype around the game,” said Leonard, simply determined to continue his rich run of form.
The 34-year-old is currently averaging 27.9 points, 2.1 steals (both career highs), 6.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, and will be aware that the Clippers are relying on him not only to contend, but also to qualify for the postseason. The Clippers are currently 10th in the Western Conference at 26-28 and need to extend their recent streak to overtake teams.
