Logan Cooley returns to training in a non-contact jersey

The Utah Mammoth have remained steady this season as they are currently 27-20 and fourth in the Central Division. They are without one of their key playersLogan Cooley, since early December after suffering a lower body injury. The good news for Mammoth is that it looks like they’ll be getting it back sooner rather than later after it’s gone seen in practiceaccording to Mike Folta.
“Logan Cooley returns to the ice with the team for the first time in a blue non-contact jersey. He skated late to a chorus of stick taps from his teammates,” Folta wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Through 29 games, Cooley has 23 points, and he was part of Mammoth’s success. It is uncertain when he will return to the ice for the game, but he appears to be making progress. The team is on Dec. 11 Cooley was expected to miss the minimum of eight weeks, so that he could be near.
In a recent interview, CEO Bill Armstrong shares a likely timeline because Cooley is coming back.
“He’s doing great,” Armstrong said. “He’s attacking it every day, he’s out there working and improving on it. He’ll have a chance to come back here before or after the Olympics. We’ll see how far he’s progressed, but he’s made huge strides.”
“I think there’s coming a point where he’s probably going to get back on the ice.”
When Cooley returns, he should be able to spark the Mammoth and help them continue to win.
