The NBA has revealed the first number of votes for All-Star Game 2026, and “international” dominance was confirmed with Luka Dončić etc Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the Western and Eastern Conferences.

The Lakers point guard is tied for No. 1 all-conference with 1,249,518 votes. In the West, he is followed by Nikola Jokic (1,128,962), Stephen Curry (1,031,455), Shai Giljus-Alexander (878,621) and Viktor Vembanjama (769,362). LeBron James is only 9th in votes, behind Kevin Durant. Two legends currently have less votes than Danny Avdia.

In the East, behind Giannis Antetokounmpo (1,192,296), we find Tyrese Maxey (1,072,449), Jaylen Brunson (1,040,601), Cade Cunningham (1,000,171) and Donovan Mitchell (851,155). Behind this quintet, Jaylen Johnson took a nice 8th place.

Fan votes count for 50% of the five starters from each conference for the 2026 All-Star Game. Current NBA players and the media panel each represent 25% of the vote.

This year, the All-Stars are chosen without a difference in position, and in the new formula of the All-Star Gametwo teams of American players and a team of international players (Team World) will compete in a tournament consisting of four matches of 12 minutes each.
