Luka Doncic carries a stunning birthday streak into the Warriors match
The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Golden State Warriors on Saturday in what should be a competitive matchup between the two Western Conference teams. Also it happens to be Luka Dončić’s birthdayand it looks like he’s about to continue his wild birthday streak.
During Dončić’s eight-year career, Saturday’s game will be only the sixth time he has played on his birthday. Now a 27-year-old guard scored 30 or more points in the past three games he played on his birthday. He scored 39 points in 2023, 30 in 2024, and 31 in 2025.

Luka Doncic should have a great chance to score at least 30 points against the Warriors. Especially considering he’s averaging a career-high 32.7 points per game. It is the third time in his career that he has averaged over 30 points per game. The six-time All-Star is also averaging 7.8 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 47.0% from the floor and 35.7% from the three-point line.
They will also have the opportunity to end the Lakers’ three-game losing streak. Los Angeles has struggled lately, with their previous two losses coming by three points or less. Both the Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns beat LA, thanks to some clutch shots to take the lead in the final seconds of those games.
The Lakers and Warriors will tip off at 8:30 PM EST. It will be played in Golden State, which will be the second consecutive away game for Luka Doncic and the Lakers.
