Luka Dončić and LeBron James they showed off their incredible chemistry during Los Angeles The Lakers match against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.
Doncic and James are progressing through their second season as a dynamic duo on the Lakers. They’ve helped Los Angeles establish itself as a playoff contender as they battle through recent slumps on the defensive side of the ball.
Their connections arrived once again when the highlight occurred midway through the first quarter. Doncic handled the ball like he did fired a pass to James, who was in color. Despite the Memphis defenders being close, James successfully recovered the ball while converting the shot and giving Doncic a significant assist.

Luka Doncic and LeBron James continue to help the Lakers stay strong as a unit, defeating the Grizzlies 128-121 at home.
Both teams traded shots during the game, so after three quarters they were tied at 96 apiece. Despite this, Los Angeles did not lose confidence as the team outscored Memphis 32-25 in the final 12 minutes.
Free throws and rebounds made the difference in this match. The Lakers won in both categories by making 27 free throws and grabbing 42 rebounds. It wasn’t the same for the Grizzlies as they took 15 shots at the line and grabbed 34 rebounds.
Five players scored in double figures in the Los Angeles win, including Doncic. He led the way with 34 points, eight assists, six rebounds and two steals. He shot 8 of 18 from the field, including 1 of 7 from beyond the arc, and 17 of 20 from the free throw line. LeBron James followed with 31 points and nine rebounds, Jake Laravia had 21 points and nine rebounds, Marcus Smart had 13 points and eight rebounds, while Jackson Hayes had 12 points and two steals.
Los Angeles improved to a 21-11 record on the season, holding fifth place in the Western Conference standings. They are one game ahead of the Minnesota Timberwolves and two games ahead of the Phoenix Suns, while trailing the Denver Nuggets by one game and the Houston Rockets by 0.5 games.
The Lakers will be looking forward to their next matchup, another home matchup with the Grizzlies. The contest will take place on January 4th at 9:30 PM ET.
