Luka Doncic reacts to Nick Harrison’s shot
OKLAHOMA CITY — After Los Angeles Lakers forward Maxi Kleber responded to Nick Harrison’s shot hands of his former team — the Dallas Mavericks – asked the journalist Luka Dončić for comment on this matter. Harrison, the former Mavs GM who traded Doncic, Kleber and Markieff Morris for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick, was relieved of his duties on Tuesday.
Doncic after the Lakers’ 121-92 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder he addressed his ex Mavericks fan base during his postgame media availability, according to Lakers reporter Khoba Price.
“The city of Dallas, the fans, the players, they will always have a special place in my heart,” Doncic said. “I thought I was going to stay there forever, but I didn’t. It’s always going to have a special place in my heart. I’m always going to call it home. But right now I’m focused on the Lakers and trying to move on. But obviously, a part of me will always be there — just trying to move on. Focus on what we’re doing.”
The reporter then asked Doncic an additional question regarding a potential return to the Mavericks at some point during his NBA career.
“I’m just focused on the Lakers right now, man,” Doncic replied. “No further comment.”
Doncic finished with 19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals in a 19-point loss to the defending champion Thunder on Wednesday, improving his NBA-leading record to 12-1.
