Luka Dončić replaces Denis Schröder with a troll
Dennis Schroder he prides himself on consistently bringing intensity to the court, but he hasn’t been able to rattle Luka Dončić on Sunday night. The Lakers want him to have a chip on his shoulder, because they believe that the motivated Doncic is a real terror for the rest of the NBA. He certainly has a role right now, leading the NBA with 33.7 points per game this season. The 2023-24 scoring champion looks much more comfortable in his first full season in LA, recapturing the form that has allowed him to become one of the most dominant offensive forces in the league today.
Luka Doncic seems to be perfectly funny to withstand the wrath of Denis Schroeder. The Lakers (20-10) will be counting on him to maintain this mental toughness when they host the Detroit Pistons (24-8) on Tuesday night. In that match there can always be a tense exchange.
