Luka Dončić reveals how team chemistry has grown in the second year

The Los Angeles Lakers have enjoyed a solid start to the new season and the five-time All-Star Luka Dončić was one of the main catalysts of the group.
The 26-year-old revealed that team chemistry has been strong to start the campaign and also noted that he feels more comfortable during his first full year in Los Angeles.
“It’s great chemistry,” Doncic told reporters after the Lakers’ 119-95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. “When I came in, I was probably the quieter (one), trying to meet people. But right now I’m just being myself, just joking around a lot, talking trash. I think one of the biggest things a team can overcome is having great chemistry, and I think we have that.”
Doncic was a key part Lakers win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks. He had 41 points, nine rebounds and six assists while shooting 9-of-19 from the field and 5-of-11 from distance.
In his 10 games this season, Dončić scored 34.4 points, 8.9 rebounds and 8.9 assists, while shooting about 47 percent from the field and about 33 percent from long range.
His improved comfort seemed to pay dividends for the Lakers, who may have found themselves coming off a tough loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Since that loss, Los Angeles has won two consecutive competitions and it could only improve when LeBron James returns from injury.
“You have to find moments to get back what makes you a good basketball team,” Lakers head coach JJ Redick told Spectrum SportsNet after Saturday’s win. “I think we’ve done that in the last 24 hours.”
The 10-4 Lakers will host the Utah Jazz in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
