Luka Doncic roasts Rui Hachimura for trying to imitate LeBron

The The Los Angeles Lakers have righted the ship in the last two games with blowout wins over the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings. During the week beat Sacramento, Luka Doncic he led the Lakers with 28 points with five rebounds and nine assists.
In recent weeks, the Lakers have established a pregame routine LeBron Jamesthe one who Rui Hachimura tried to imitate on Sunday, as reported by ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
“Rui Hachimura took LeBron James’ place in the Lakers’ pregame ritual by throwing the ball toward the rafters and catching it off a rebound to signal a simultaneous team squat,” McMenamin reported on X, formerly Twitter.
“Never again. Never again. He was terrible,” Doncic joked after the game.
Hachimura had a relatively quiet game, with just eight points on Sunday, so that may be the end of his attempt to take over James’ pregame routine.
The Lakers, meanwhile, are certainly happy to be on a soft schedule right now, after recently causing massive concern among fans with tough last-second losses to the Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns, preceded by a big loss at home to the Boston Celtics.
Los Angeles is currently 36-24 on the season and would be in the Western Conference playoffs if the season ended today. However, there are still huge concerns about the Lakers’ lack of perimeter defenders, as well as their deficiencies in shooting the ball from the outside.
The fact that they are still 12 games over the .500 mark despite these glaring weaknesses speaks volumes for the offensive firepower that Doncic, James and Austin Reaves have been able to provide this year.
Either way, the Lakers will next take the floor on Tuesday night at home against the New Orleans Pelicans.
