Luka Dončić’s Christmas gift to his teammates delighted everyone
Better watch out, better not cry, better not pout, we’ll tell you why: Luka Dončić is coming to town.
The Los Angeles Lakers got an advanced holiday gift from Doncic in training on Tuesday, and the only appropriate reaction we have is envy. Yes, it’s not a great trait to have this Christmas, but honesty is.
Dončić, who played Santa who breaks his ankle and counts calories to his teammates, surprised the whole team with more than 100 e-bikes, as shown in a video posted by the Lakers.
Judging by everyone’s reaction, it’s safe to say that they were a hit.
“This is crazy. I’m glad I got this bike,” said Deandre Ayton.
“Shout out to Luka Doncic, man,” Jackson Hayes added.
“This is awesome. If I had gotten this when I was a kid, I would have been a happy kid,” remarked Marcus Smart.
Of course they had to try it out, with Doncic, Hayes and Smart all riding their new whips. Somewhere out there, the Lakers’ medical staff broke into a cold sweat.
26 year old Doncic earned more admiration from the fans for his sweet gesture.
