Luke McCaffrey is out after injuring his shoulder in the first inning

Luke McCaffrey suffered a significant injury during the Washington Game of the Commander against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night.
McCaffrey projected a key role in the Commanders offense with Jayden Daniels at quarterback. The team was also missing Terry McLaurin, who was sidelined with an injury. As a result, McCaffrey would be active in the offense throughout the night.
However, his time on the field ended early in the first quarter. He was on special teams while participating in the opener. However, he saw him at the end of the play suffer a shoulder injury that will sideline him for the rest of the game, according to ESPN’s NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
“Commanders have ruled Luke McCaffrey out with a shoulder injury,” Schefter wrote.
