Mark Daigneault reacts to Devin Booker’s ‘secret is out’ claim.

At this point, it seems like the only way to stop it Oklahoma City Thunder is to completely cancel the season.

The Thunder have lost just once in 24 games and remained unbeaten at home in 11 outings. To remove the hyperbole: They are excellent.

They will put their 15-game winning streak on the line on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns at the Pike Center in the quarterfinals of the NBA Cup.

Oklahoma City defeated Phoenix in its previous regular-season game, 123-119, in November. After the Suns star game Devin Booker claimed that the “secret is out” regarding the Thunder’s defense, noting that they “play aggressively” to “rush you.”

When asked about Booker’s comments Tuesday, the OKC coach Mark Daigneault he didn’t give too much weight.

“I haven’t heard that. We just focus on what’s between the lines. Everybody says things after games in terms of interviews — whether it’s a compliment or whatever,” Daigneault said in a video posted by Thunder Wire’s Clemente Almansa.

Daigneault has bigger concerns against the Suns, especially their ailing roster. Isaiah Hartenstein, Isaiah Joe and Nikola Topic are out with injuries, while Alec Caruso and Lou Dort will likely need to shake off some rust after sitting out the last few games.

They will once again rely on their league-leading defense, as they are the only team this season to hold opponents under 107 points per game.

In their last 10 games, the Thunder are scoring 125.1 points on 52.6% shooting from the field per outing.

Booker will miss the Oklahoma City game with a groin strain.
