Mark Stein throws gas at Kobe White, Ayo Dosunma exchanges fire
The Chicago Bulls are on track to re-enter the playoffs as their last win, a 114-111 victory over the Boston Celtics on Derrick Rose’s jersey retirement ceremonythey are at 23-22, which is good for ninth in the Eastern Conference. They have been stuck in the middle for the past few years and there seems to be no end in sight to this mediocre run of theirs.
A good chunk of Bulls fans want the team to be more aggressive when it comes to pivoting to the youth movement. They would at least like to get reasonable returns for some of their players when their contracts expire of which the most prominent are Nikola Vucevic, Coby Whiteand Aio Dosunmu.
And at the very least, it looks like the Bulls did will be active on the trade market, if the latest report from NBA insider Marc Stein is any indication.
“The Bulls are expected to engage in some sort of trade during the season for the second straight winter,” Stein wrote. “This winter, there are still rumblings that the Bulls are keen to make a move by using some of their expiring contracts … with Kobe White and Ayo Dosunmu most frequently mentioned as potential departures.
Bulls to trade Kobe White and Ayo Dosunmu?

White and Dosunmu are only 25 and 26, respectively, but their contract situations make them reasonable trade candidates for a Bulls team that needs to keep its asset line moving. Both could hit free agency in a few months, so getting something for them could be a win.
Previous reports from ClutchPoints NBA insider Brett Siegel also indicated that he is Bulls really search the market for a solid return for White and Dosunmu, and Stein’s latest report simply adds more fuel to the fire of these rumors.
