The Phoenix Suns he got back into the win column after bouncing off the Minnesota Timberwolves108-105, at Target Center on Monday.

Mark Williams led Phoenix with 22 points on 7-of-9 shooting, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
In the third quarter, he drilled a three-pointer from near the corner. For many, it was just an ordinary bucket. But for Williams, it should be one to remember, as it was his first NBA three-pointer.
Suns reporter Shane Young pointed out that Williams shot 0-of-4 from beyond the arc in 125 games before finally sinking one. Young added that Williams attempted just one 3-pointer in two years at Duke.

The 23-year-old Williams has been in and out of the lineup with a knee injury. The Suns are taking a cautious approach managing his playing time. He is averaging 13.2 points on 68.5% shooting, 8.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals.
He had plenty of support against the Timberwolves, with Colin Gillespie scoring 19 points, six rebounds and four assists and Dillon Brooks adding 18 points, two rebounds and two assists.
Williams joined Phoenix in June after being traded to the Charlotte Hornets for Vasilij Micic, draft rights to Liam McNeely and a 2029 first-round pick.
