Matt Duchene explains why he stayed in Dallas

Matt Duchene signed a four-year extension of the contract with the stars this summer. This is his third contract with the team, and his first perennial pact from joining 2023. years.

“A lot of people would like to play for Dallas Stars, and I’m a guy who has to do, so I didn’t want to mess with that,” Duchene said recently, through the Reporter Tim Mike Heik. “You have the opportunity to win here and it’s the most important thing to me, and I can’t win the way I can go better to get forward to reach that to the end point and I think it’s the best place.”

Duchene performed as one of the best signing leagues in the last few seasons. However, he struggled in the postseason during his time in Dallas. Moreover, the whole team fought once the time for the Western Conference Final.

“For me, I think the last two years are the process of learning in Plejoma,” Duchene said, through Heika. “Now I feel I can use what I learned in the playoffs and caused him as it goes forward. And I feel really good to get the opportunity to do it with this team.”
