Matthew Stafford talks about an unexpected move on a big night against the Saints

The Los Angeles Rams they hardly sweated like they did crushed the New Orleans Saints, 34-10at SoFi Stadium on Sunday to record their third straight victory.
Matthew Stafford led the way again after going 24-of-32 for 281 yards and four touchdowns. It was a strong follow-up to his great performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, where he went 21 of 33 for 182 yards and five touchdowns. They also destroyed the Jaguars, 35-7.
Stafford was having so much fun on the field that he tried to block Alontae Taylor during cuts in the third quarter. “Tried” being the operative word.
In a video posted by the Rams, a reporter asked Stafford if he had prepared for the unexpected move. 37-year-old quarterback gave a self-deprecating answer.
“Getting ready?” Stafford said, drawing laughter from the press room. “I threw some cushions in there.”
“I ran over Sean Smith, the referee. After that I was like, ‘I’m too old for this s***.’ Excuse me. He said: ‘Smart decision.’ I was like, ‘Man, I kind of licked there. But I don’t know what I was doing. I was just playing.”
We’ll laugh just this once, Matthew. 🤣 pic.twitter.com/krIc260uZR

Stafford caught four touchdown passes for the 19th time in his career, continuing another outstanding campaign. The former Super Bowl champion has thrown for 1,408 yards and 16 touchdowns with zero interceptions over his last five games.
It’s hard for a veteran signal caller not to be in a good mood, especially after the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series over the Toronto Blue Jays in a memorable seven-game sweep.
In fact, Stafford found that he and the rest of the Rams gone wild after the Dodgers won the title on Saturday.
“We were in the room last night and everybody was watching, and when (Miguel) Rojas hit the dinger, man, we all went crazy. It was the shortest pregame team meeting,” Stafford added, per the Associated Press report.
The Rams will prepare for the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
