McDaniels joins Giannis, Vembanyama with historic half
Talisman Anthony Edwards was once again the star of the stars Minnesota Timberwolves against the Portland Trail Blazers, coming back with 34 points, four assists and four rebounds. however, it was also a historic night for Jaden McDanielswho became the eighth player in NBA history to ever record a 13-3-1-2-5 streak.
McDaniels ended up finishing with 29 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and five blocks for the Timberwolves. The stats have been previously released by a select group of players, the latest being the San Antonio Spurs. Of course, the Trail Blazers were valiant throughout as Jrue Holiday led the way with 22 points, Jerami Grant added 21 points and Scoot Henderson provided a boost off the bench with 19 points, six rebounds and five assists. The Timberwolves will now face the Los Angeles Clippers, while Portland will play the Chicago Bulls in hopes of closing the gap to .500.
