Miles Bridges fires back at Isaiah Stewart on IG after argument

The The Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons battle on Monday night it came as a result of an altercation between Moussa Diabate and Jalen Duren, with the former letting his frustrations get the better of him as he attempted to hit the Pistons big man. Since most peacekeepers focused on separating the two, Miles Bridges decided that he would try to take Diabate’s place in boxing with Duren.

Bridges’ involvement in the fight was disturbing Isaiah Stewartwho is known for being the main enforcer of the Pistons. Stewart broke several rules in the process of going up against the Hornets forward as the two tangled, with the Pistons Enforcer putting the Hornets forward on the head when he landed a few shots.

The four aforementioned players were ejected, and the Pistons ended up winning the game despite the Hornets’ comeback efforts, 108-104. One would think that the drama would end there. However, after the game Bridges had something else to say about his exchange with Stewart.

“The thug was grabbing his hair, he wasn’t trying to kill him,” Bridges commented on Instagram.

One would think that Bridges is in line for a lengthy suspension given his history of off-field violence. The Hornets striker, as he remembers, missed the entire 2022-23 campaign following his involvement in an alleged domestic violence case involving his ex-partner.

Bridges also doesn’t show much remorse for his actions, which the NBA may not take too kindly to in the end. The Hornets forward is well on his way to missing a few games, and as much as he’s slotted in against his emerging teammates, he’s part of a Charlotte lineup that has dominated opponents over the past few weeks.
