Kawhi Leonard would be a great MVP with him his 41 points against the Wolvesmore Scottie Barnes was more efficient and complete in a Raptors win against the Pacers. “Like I said, I just do what the game asks of me. Obviously Colin wasn’t there, so I had to get more rebounds. We needed rim protection. I just did what the game called for.” explains about his 3rd quarter. “I felt good when I got to the basket, on offense. We should have scored, the first half wasn’t great offensively. So I’m running in transition, getting rebounds, pushing the pace, doing those things.”
Along the way, Barnes pays tribute to his mentor and opponent of the night, one Pascal Siakam. There is almost a connection in the game between the two, and after the departure of the Cameroonian to the Pacers, Barnes has taken over and is on the verge of returning the Raptors to the playoffs. “Pascal, I love him more than anything.
