Myles Turner doesn’t think it’s “time to panic” about Giannis being traded

The Milwaukee Bucks fall in rhythm in the Eastern Conference standings, and Giannis Antetokounmpo calf injury that will keep him out for a few weeks, not helping matters at all. With the Bucks owning a 10-15 record, which puts them in 10th place in the East, the Giannis trade just got that much louder.

In fact, according to Chris Haynes, Antetokounmpo had to address his Bucks teammateshe reportedly told them not to worry about outside noise about a potential trade. This at least lends some credence to the idea that Giannis may, indeed, be leaning toward a potential trade demand amid the Bucks’ struggles.

Losing Giannis would set the Bucks franchise back for years, but if he does request a trade, it’s hard to imagine a scenario where Milwaukee would refuse to make good on their franchise GOAT. however, Miles Turnerwho was acquired last offseason in the whirlwind of events that saw Milwaukee opt out of Damian Lillard’s contract, is encouraging his team don’t panic yet.

“Personally, I don’t think it’s time to panic. I think it’s time to be aware, and I think awareness and panic are two very different things,” Turner said, via ESPN’s Stephen Watson.

This may not be what Myles Turner signed with the Bucks for

Turner ended up in the bag hunt last offseason, then signed with the Bucks offended by Indiana Pacers contract offers he gave him. But it just ended up being a disaster for Turner himself. He may have the money, but the Bucks aren’t going anywhere fast and he could be traded soon anyway, leaving him without control over his immediate future.

Turner hasn’t been good in a Bucks uniform either, so if Milwaukee decides to blow it up, he might have to go too.
